In july 2013 Lisa's stomach started aching. After the medical
research at Iashvili Clinic next diagnose was set: germ cell tumor,
small pelvic cavity tumor "teratoma", a tumor of a vitellicle.
According to the doctors’ decision 6 courses of chemotherapy were
conducted.
Regression was not achieved. Needed operation was not available in
Georgia because of tumor's difficult location: formation adjoined
tailbone, rectum and therefore its removal was associated with
certain risks. With our fund's and relatives help Lizi's operation
was financed abroad. Surgery was conducted in august, but at the
next stage of the operation, situation got complicated and the
stitches got infected. Because of that the chemotherapy course was
delayed. After the MRI tumor was again found on her scar area and 3
newgrowths on buttocks. Because of that 6 new courses of
chemotherapy were conducted. After that operation will be planned.
The fund continues supporting little Lizi until her full
recovery.
