Georgian Community in the UK in support of the Foundation

Georgian Community in the UK under leadership of Irine Sarajishvili held a charity concert in support of Dimitri Tsintsadze Foundation in order to help children with leukemia. The Georgian opera singers engaged abroad participated in the concert – baritone Mikheil Kiria, soprano Teona Dvali, pianist Luka Okrostsvaridze, the host of the evening was the conductor Gianluca Marciano.
Lucky tickets were drawn between the audience after the concert.
Musician Katie Melua awarded several lucky spectators with her signed CD.
Elena Glurjidze, a senior principal ballerina at the English National Ballet, handed winners 2 tickets to the show "Nutcracker" and posters with autograph. Also, Davit Gigauri and Ana Saldadze gave their book "Be My Guest" and "Chateau Mukhrani" to the winner. Georgian Community in the UK awarded the participants of the evening with "Sarajishvili" and "Badagoni" drinks.
At the end of the charity evening the The Ambassador of Georgia extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Revaz Gachechiladze addressed the guests. The money donated to the charity evening (2000 Pounds sterling) was transferred to "Dmitri Tsintsadze Foundation".

I want to mention that without the support of Maestro Gianluca Marciano this event could not have been held. Maestro was the host of the evening and he presented charity event's stars to the audience. I would like to thank our honorable guests, the Ambassador of Georgia extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Revaz Gachechiladze, musician Katie Melua, Elena Glurjidze, a senior principal ballerina at the English National Ballet who are always supporting us. Also, I want to thank Georgian Community in the UK."
