Manana Menabde's concert-marathon

On May 20, at the Rustaveli Theater's big stage will be held concert-marathon of Manana Menabde, a descendant of Sisters Ishkhneli, who works abroad. Nika Nikvashvili, a Georgian pianist who works in Moscow, will visit us for this special concert. In accordance of the singer's will, the full amount received from the tickets sold, will be transferred to Dimitri Tsintsadze Foundation.
The project is organized by the non-gevernmental organization "ART & SOCIETY". The project is implemented with the support of Tbilisi City Hall's Center of Events, Ministry of Culture and City Assembly.
Manana Menabde, the soloist of the famous orchestra "Rero", continues to perform concerts in Germany, France, Moscow, England and Ukraine. She has recorded dozens of albums, worked as a composer on several films. One of the films "Day Is Longer Than Night" (directed by Lana Ghoghoberidze) has won the audiences' sympathy for the Cannes festival. She has written songs on the texts of famous Georgian poets. For 30 years, Manana Menabde works outside Georgia. The singer's repertoire was renewed. Chamber Orchestra "Kamerata Georgia" and invited musicians participate in the concert.
