Levan Tsiklauri is 14 years old, for the first time he was
diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. After the first
chemotherapy course, the remission was achieved. In 2007 the first
recurrence was developed. Chemotherapy was continued, a new scheme
of treatment was developed, afterwards was remision again.
In 2011 second recurrence was confirmed. Last year doctors were
able to achieve Levan's third remission. After that the bone marrow
transplantation was carried out in City of Pavia. Levan also had
congenital heart disease, therefore, along with the
transplantation, the patient also underwent heart surgery. At the
moment protection therapy and monitoring are performed at Iashvili
Clinic. As a result of prolonged chemotherapy, the contraption of
the elbow band developed. At this stage, he is in immunosuppressive
condition. He needs control visit to Pavia. The fund finances his
massage therapy.
