This lovely boy is Andria Khuphenia. He was sitting just like that
as I walked to him. He began talking right away. You can't imagine
how cheerful and kind he is. I fell in love with him in just
seconds.
At the age of 3, Mahammad was diagnosed with aplastic anemia. The
transplantation surgery was carried out in Medipol Clinic,
Istanbul. At this stage his health condition is satisfactory, but
for the complete cure we have long-lasting protection therapy.
Dimitri Amitchba is the first beneficiary, we started as a newly
established charitable organization with Dima's case, he had fully
recovered from leukemia. Unfortunately, the history of Dima's
illness has not ended.
This guy with beautiful eyes is Gabriel Maisuradze.
In February he was diagnosed with aplastic anemia in Iashvili
Clinic. His illness was assessed as heavy and he was flown to
Israel for urgent stem cell transplantation.
Israel-Georgia Chamber of Business and Israeli House, in
cooperation with Israeli Knesset and Tbilisi City Hall, conducted
charity event in support of Georgian children suffering from
Leukemia, on December 5, collected money will be transferred to
“Dimitri Tsintsadze’s Foundation”.
The charity event was attended by Israeli and Georgian business
representatives as well as representatives of creative sphere.
Specially for this day delegation of Israel and its head Deputy
Speaker of the Knesset Hilik Bar, Senior Advisor to the President
of Israel Zeev Dolinsky, representatives of Israeli Knesset visited
Georgia.
On October 23, Dimitri Tsintsadze Foundation thanked employees of
Ministry of Defense Georgia for their support and help. The
representatives of the fund met with Tinatin Khidasheli in the
Ministry of Defense and awarded her the certificate of gratitude.
Ministry of Defense is one of the institutions which actively
cooperates with Dimitri Tsintsadze Foundation since its
establishment. Defense Minister and guests expressed their desire
to continue their close cooperation in the future.
On October 22, Tbilisi State Medical University's student
self-government organized a meeting on the topic: "Oncological
problems among children in Georgia".
Georgian Community in the UK under leadership of Irine Sarajishvili
held a charity concert in support of Dimitri Tsintsadze Foundation
in order to help children with leukemia. The Georgian opera singers
engaged abroad participated in the concert – baritone Mikheil
Kiria, soprano Teona Dvali, pianist Luka Okrostsvaridze, the host
of the evening was the conductor Gianluca Marciano.
On June 2, at 3 o'clock, School-Studio of Art "Iagundi" invites you
to the charity evening. The activity will be held in support of
Dimitri Tsintsadze Foundation and the amount received will be spent
on the treatment of children with leukemia and solid cancer.
On June 1, on The International Day for Protection of Children,
charity concert "Children for Children" will be held in support of
children with leukemia and solid cancer. The event will be held at
the big hall of Griboedov Theatre. The young performers get united
in order to help their peers.
On May 20, at the Rustaveli Theater's big stage will be held
concert-marathon of Manana Menabde, a descendant of Sisters
Ishkhneli, who works abroad. Nika Nikvashvili, a Georgian pianist
who works in Moscow, will visit us for this special concert. In
accordance of the singer's will, the full amount received from the
tickets sold, will be transferred to Dimitri Tsintsadze Foundation.
On Arpril 15, 16 and 17, a charity event "Children for Children"
was held in Gurjaani State Theater Hall. The event was organized by
Gurjaani State Professional Puppet Theatre and Gurjaani Preschool
Institutions. Its purpose was to help children with leukemia and
solid cancer.
